New and improved features:
This regulator has been designed so that the whole seat and seat cap assembly are manufactured as a fully encapsulated part. This adds to the reliability and in the case that the regulator is eventually opened up for servicing it reduces the chance of this assembly becoming contaminated by the service agent. This further improves reliability.

Controls high pressure CO2 from a cylinder down to pressures usable in a beer keg or other situations where low pressure is needed.
This is the most common type of regulator used in homebrew setups with 19L corny kegs or commercial keg setups. It will fit onto any standard NZ spec co2 cylinder (type 30 valve).
We also have sodastream adapters for these regulators so you can use a sodastream cylinder with with to have a more portable solution.
Feel free to send us a message if you have any questions or specific kegging / brewing needs.
Hi! I have a sealing machine for meals (nothing related to beer) and I need I gas regulator for a cylinder that is co2 and nitrogen mixed. Do you think this regulator would work for that? Thanks, Aimee
Hi Aimee -
Thanks for the message. For that kind of cylinder you would a type 50 regulator (different fitting). We have them here:
There are however a very few N2/co2 mix cylinders that will take a Type30 regulator but it is quite rare - If you already have the cylunder yoiu can take an image of the valve thread and we can confirm if you like.
Cheers - Andrew.
Hello, I have a type 50 connector for use with 80/20 nitrogen mix but there is no washer inside the connector. Shouldn't there be one? Teflon ? Rubber? Cheers
Hi Dean -
With a nitrogen stem there is no washer/gasket - it is a metal on metal connection. It needs to be done up nice and tight as its higher pressure than Co2.
You can see the stem we use here:

What’s the difference between this regulator and the other one at the same price? Can I connect a 1/4” line to this or do I need extra fittings?
Hi Kevin,
Not much difference. This has an MFL threaded outlet so has the option of a few different fittings. It comes with a screw on 6mm barb. So if your line is 5mm inner diameter then All good. Or put a screw on fitting with female pushfit outlet to fit your hose. Cheers.
